| Kings Stumble, Lose to Jackals | Jacksonville Jackals starter Scott Lohmann pitched his team past the Boston Kings, 8-1. Boston, with the loss, is still a stout 6-2.
The Jackals got a big boost from first baseman David Dowdy who had a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the first inning off Kings hurler Nate Smith. It was his 4th RBI of the season and put Jacksonville on top, 1-0.
