Jackals Take Nail-Biter Over Makos
Jacksonville turned a good effort from starter Jason Flaugh into a win over the Miami Makos at Jackals Stadium. The final score was 1-0. The losing streak for Miami has now reached 4 games.

The decisive blow was delivered by David Dowdy in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off 21-year old left-handed pitcher Jesus Barajas to win the game for Jacksonville. The home crowd went nuts.

"This place was rocking at the end," Dowdy said.
