| Sunrays Fall Short at Arlington, 4-3 | The Arlington Arsenal did just enough to sneak past the Tampa Bay Sunrays, 4-3, at Ballpark of Arlington. Arlington pitcher Rob Stern, in particular, had a standout performance. The win went to Tony Alba in relief, making him now 1-0. Taylor Heather took the loss for Tampa Bay. Arlington goes to 7-2 with the win.
Arlington went up, 4-3, on Bobby Pena's 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Pena hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Tampa Bay pitcher Taylor Heather shaking his head.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Arlington manager David Fields. | | | | |
