| Orange Pick Up 4-1 Win | The Orlando Orange rode a solid performance from 32-year-old starting pitcher Bob Figueroa to a win, beating the Toronto Robbers, 4-1, at Orange Park. The Orange lead the Independent South by 8 games.
In the bottom of the second inning, left fielder David Sanchez had a run-scoring double for Orlando. It was his 20th double of the season and put the Orange on top, 1-0.
"I thought we played a nice game," Sanchez told the Orlando News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
