Boston Offense Goes Belly-Up Versus Brock, Makos
Malachi Brock, who is tied for 4th in the IL in complete games with 2, was terrific for the Miami Makos in his team's 1-0 triumph over the Boston Kings. His performance earned Brock rave reviews. Carlos Sanchez earned the save for Miami, his 14th of the year. With the win, Miami has a record of 53-42. Boston falls to 42-53.

Brock was in the zone all game. He frustrated Boston hitters while giving the Makos 7 innings of quality work. Brock threw 82 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 7 punchouts.

"Malachi was pounding the zone," said Miami manager David Fields.
