Jacksonville catcher Camden Hodge was instrumental in helping the Jackals triumph, 14-4, over the Philadelphia Fury. Hodge went 1 for 2 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Andy Partlow was the winner. He's now 9-6. The loser was 29-year old right-handed pitcher Joe Jones. The loss makes Philadelphia 39-56.

With Jacksonville leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Hodge hit a sinker from Joe Jones for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Jackals ahead, 4-0.
