Sunrays Rally to Nose Past Arlington
The Sunrays grabbed a win, 4-3, at Ballpark of Arlington, overcoming a fine effort from Arlington pitcher Victor Corral. Corral went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Tampa Bay reliever George Hylton picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Alex Ojeda absorbed the loss. Jerry Gripper collected save number 4.

Jose Olivas, who led the UL in OPS with 1.138 in 2027, had a direct impact on the outcome. Olivas contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Tampa Bay up, 4-3.

Olivas told a Tampa Bay Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
