Tim Murray had a big run-scoring double for the Empire in the top of the fifth inning. With New York leading 3-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a cutter from Steve Van Orsdol, who is tied for 6th in the IL with a 2.91 ERA, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 27th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Empire ahead, 4-1.
