| Jackals Use Late Score to Top Sunrays, 4-3 | Jackals fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.
Andy Partlow, who is tied for 3rd in the IL in strikeouts with 164, was locked in. The right-hander led the Jacksonville Jackals to a 4-3 win against the Tampa Bay Sunrays at Jackals Stadium. Jacksonville reliever Sal Arreguin picked up the win to move to 2-4. John Winsor suffered the loss.
David Dowdy was the walk-off hero for Jacksonville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Jackals first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"The crowd went nuts," Dowdy said.
The third-place Jackals have won 7 straight games.
