The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

Mario Villalobos never let Miami get something going. The Chicago right-hander commanded his sinker in pitching the Hawks to a 3-0 win. The first-place Hawks go to 59-47.

The decisive blow was delivered by Gabriel Luna in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 3-run home run off two-time All-Star Fidel Medina to win the game for Chicago. The home crowd went nuts.

"Bottom line," said Miami skipper David Fields, "we didn't play well enough to win."
