Dallas turned a fine outing from starter Gerardo Corona into a victory over the Mexico City Marauders at Jets Field. The final score was 9-2. Corona got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 4 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Picking up the save was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Vinny Hernandez.

Dallas took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Ray Richardson hit a 2-run single to make it 4-2, Jets.
