The Miami Makos picked up a win at Ballpark of Arlington, dropping the Arlington Arsenal, 3-1. Justin Brussow, who is a two-time All-Star, was the difference-maker. Brussow, the winner, moves to 1-1. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up no walks. Willie Lopez finished to wrap up his 2nd save.

Ivan Galiano had a direct impact on the outcome. Galiano contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put Miami up, 3-0.

"Justin is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Miami manager David Fields.

The Arsenal drop to 5-5 and continue their mediocre start to the 2042 season.
