The Dallas Jets picked up a win at Jets Field, downing the San Francisco Pioneers, 4-2. On the mound for Dallas was right-hander Daniel Carrier, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winner was Carrier. He threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Alex Sanchez. The loss drops San Francisco to 3-2.

Dallas third baseman Matt Alf contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 5th hit of the season and put the Jets ahead, 4-2.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Alf told the Dallas Chronicle.
