| Twisters Come Up Short at Mexico City, 4-3 | The Mexico City Marauders topped the Oklahoma City Twisters, 4-3, in United action at Marauders Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Mexico City pitcher Russell Schneider. Robert Medina earned the save for Mexico City, his 2nd of the year. With the win, Mexico City lifts its record to 5-1.
In the bottom of the seventh, Mexico City left fielder Felipe Tapia had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and one out, Tapia stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 4-0, Mexico City. For the game, he was 2-4 with 2 singles.
"Russell set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said Mexico City manager David Fields.
