| Leon Beaten, 6-3, by San Francisco | The San Francisco Pioneers and Leon Toltecs completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The Leon Toltecs got a superb performance from pitcher Josh Neal, but the San Francisco Pioneers still won the game, 6-3. Neal threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. Picking up the save was Gary Gunnoe, his 3rd.
San Francisco took a 4-2 lead on Brandon Hoyt's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Hoyt hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Leon pitcher Francisco Rodriguez visibly frustrated.
Hoyt attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
The loss has the Toltecs at 4-3. | | | | |
