The Mexico City Marauders defeated the Seattle Pilots, 3-2, in United action at Pilots Park. Mexico City pitcher Rafael Molina had a standout performance. Nick Weaver was called on to finish, recording his 5th save. Seattle falls to 4-6.

Mexico City won the game in part because of Mathieu Fournier. The right fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Marauders ahead, 2-0. For the game, Fournier had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"I was trying to do what I do, go out there and compete," said Molina.
