| Toltecs Continue Skid, Thanks to Colon, Queens | The Denver Queens handed the Leon Toltecs a 5-4 defeat at Queens Field. Second Baseman Emilio Colon starred for Denver. He was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Brad Foran came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 3.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. Finlay Churchill finished to wrap up his 1st save.
With Denver leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Colon hit a sinker from Angelo Pulido for a bases-clearing double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Queens ahead, 5-0.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Colon.
Denver goes to 3-7.
