Empire Lose Again, 4-2, to Orange
The Orlando Orange called upon starter Mike Beltran, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the New York Empire, 4-2. Diego Marquez recorded the save for Orlando, his 4th of the season. The Empire fall to 5-7 and continue their lackluster start in 2042.

The Orange got a big at-bat from third baseman Neal Kerfoot. For the game, Kerfoot was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Orlando a 2-1 lead.

"Mike was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Orlando manager David Fields.
