| Houston Tumbles Again, Falls, 3-1, to Hollywood | In a low-scoring contest between the Hollywood Hitters and the Houston Rangers, 24-year old left-handed pitcher Phil Seals proved to be the difference. The Hollywood left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Hitters win. The Hitters, now 13-2, have stormed out of the gates.
The Rangers had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Hitters going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 2032 Rookie of the Year Award winner Manny Barragan came to the plate. Barragan hit a solo home run on a 1-2 curveball from Houston hurler Jake Braun. It was Barragan's 1st home run of the year.
"Right now, things are falling our way," said Hollywood manager David Fields.
