| Luchadors Bridle Marauders , 3-1 | Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the San Diego Luchadors and the Mexico City Marauders . San Diego won it, 3-1. San Diego starter Pat Caniglia was in command. Caniglia picked up the win for San Diego, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. San Diego, now 11-3, has gotten their season off to a good start.
The Luchadors got a big at-bat from left fielder Jimmy Taylor. For the game, Taylor was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave San Diego a 3-0 lead.
