| Luchadors Deal Twisters 5-3 Setback | The home crowd had a good time watching the Oklahoma City Twisters and San Diego Luchadors get after it.
Dennis Anderson left his imprint on the 5-3 San Diego win against the Oklahoma City Twisters. Anderson, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2041 draft, was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2. Bobby Samu earned his 8th save, after closing out the game.
The Luchadors got a big hit from left fielder Jimmy Taylor. In the bottom of the sixth, Taylor smacked a 3-run home run off Oklahoma City pitcher Mike Clark. It was his 4th home run of the season. Suddenly, the Luchadors were ahead, 5-3.
Anderson expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
The Luchadors, now 14-3, have hit the ground running this season.
