Losing Trend Continues for Houston
Phoenix turned a good effort from starter Diego Fierro into a win over the Houston Rangers at Firebirds Ballpark. The Firebirds won the game, 3-2. The winner was Fierro. He threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The loser was Armando Vega. The Rangers, at 4-12, have stumbled out of the gate.
