| Toltecs Rally For Late Win Over Pilots | Starting pitcher Kareem Brobbey gave the Leon Toltecs a rock-solid effort. The Victorville, California native helped his team defeat the Seattle Pilots, 3-1, at Toltecs Field. The Toltecs are off to an underwhelming start as they look to defend their championship, notching only their 7th win in 16 games.
Leon took a 3-1 lead on Victor Ramos's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Ramos hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Seattle pitcher Pedro Ochoa visibly frustrated.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Ramos. | | | | |
