| Pilots Suffer 3-0 Loss to Leon | In a low-scoring contest between the Leon Toltecs and the Seattle Pilots, Ron Martin, who finished 2nd in the UL in ERA with 2.77 in 2033, proved to be the difference. The Leon right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-0 Toltecs win. Chris Maguire collected save number 1. With the win, Leon is 9-9.
Leon took a 3-0 lead on David Spence's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Spence hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Seattle pitcher Mike Clay visibly frustrated.
"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Martin.
