Arreguin Hits Two Dingers, Queens Win, 16-6
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Denver Queens and San Diego Luchadors.

In the 16-6 Denver win over San Diego, the impact of Alex Arreguin was substantial. Arreguin, who is tied for 5th in the UL in doubles with 6, hit 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Mike White earned the win to go to 3-1. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work.

Denver used a clutch at-bat from Dale Ings to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Queens ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a humdinger.

"We maximized our offense today," said Denver skipper David Fields. "That makes everyone's life easier."

The win puts Denver at 10-10.
