| Twisters Hope Win Turns Around Slow Start | The Oklahoma City Twisters got a stellar performance from pitcher Gabriel Fregoso, who handcuffed the Denver offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Wranglers Ballpark. Chad Strickland nailed down his 3rd save. Oklahoma City is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 7th win in 20 games.
James Peters dealt the Queens a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with the bases loaded and Oklahoma City leading 1-0, Peters hit a full count sinker for a run-scoring single.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Peters. | | | | |
