| Twisters Edge Past Queens, 7-6 | The Oklahoma City Twisters beat the Denver Queens at Wranglers Ballpark. The final score was 7-6, in favor of Oklahoma City. Bill Broddle led the way, going 2-for-4 for the home team. The Queens, now 6-15, continue their slow start.
Broddle had a game-changing double in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-2 sinker from Sergio Aguilar, he banged a run-scoring double to center, giving the Twisters a 7-6 lead. It was the 2nd double of the year for Broddle.
"Just trying to keep things simple and helping the team win any way I can," Broddle told a local reporter after the game.
