| Hitters Back to .500 With Win Over Twisters | Hollywood pitcher Rich Cole did his part in helping his team beat the Oklahoma City Twisters, 4-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. In 5.1 innings, Cole surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. The win gives Hollywood a season record of 12-12.
Maurice Cohen had a big 2-run home run for the Hitters in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Hollywood leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a cutter from Raul Munoz and swatted a home run to left. It was his 5th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Hitters ahead, 4-0.
"You work hard, day in and day out, hoping to give the fans something to cheer about. Today was a good day," Cohen told the Hollywood Daily News.
