| Luchadors Get Clutch Win, 1-0 | In a tight tilt between the San Diego Luchadors and the Seattle Pilots, Pat Caniglia was the deciding factor. The San Diego left-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. San Diego pitcher Justin Eichenberger got the win. He's now 1-0. Danny Reynoso was tagged with the loss. Bobby Samu recorded the save, his 12th.
Josh Mecum came through with a big-time hit for San Diego. The designated hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 1-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
San Diego manager David Fields called it "a good, solid win."
