Peaches Improve to 14-10 with 2-1 Win
In a low-scoring tilt between the Atlanta Peaches and the Mexico City Marauders , Jorge Rodriquez, who finished 3rd in the UL in innings pitched with 156.0 in 2030, was the difference-maker. The Atlanta right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Rodriquez yielded 1 run over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 0, and struck out 4. His record improves to 2-3. Chet Corson earned save number 11.

Adam Clark had a big 2-run home run for the Peaches in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Atlanta trailing 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a cutter from Ricardo Davalos and swatted a home run to left. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Peaches ahead, 2-1.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Clark.

The win boosted Atlanta to 14-10.
