Seattle Loses, 12-10, Despite Reyes Performance
The Hollywood-Seattle matchup turned into a slugfest.

Seattle first baseman Jesus Reyes had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 12-10, to Hollywood at Hitters Park. Reyes belted 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Hollywood reliever David Fernandez got the win, raising his record to 3-0. Mario Alvarez was tagged with the loss. Armando Fonseca, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2041 draft, earned the save for Hollywood.

In the bottom of the sixth, Hollywood shortstop Josh Harney gave his team the lead. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Strawberry Bill hit his 5th home run of the year. Seattle pitcher Danny Reynoso surrendered it. With that, the Hitters jumped in front, 11-9.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Harney.

The losing skid has reached 6 games for Seattle.
