Ochoa Now 2-2 After Subduing Queens
Pedro Ochoa, who is tied for 6th in the UL with a 0.87 WHIP, imposed his will on the Queens from the get-go. Relying mainly on his changeup, the right-hander spearheaded the 5-1 Seattle triumph. The losses continue to mount for Denver, which has now dropped 8 in a row.

Ochoa's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 7 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 4 hits. Ochoa, who is tied for 2nd in the UL in innings pitched with 46.0, goes to 2-2 on the year with 40 strikeouts.

Denver manager David Fields, after yet another defeat, said: "We don't want to panic. At the same time, we need to stop the bleeding."
