The Dallas Jets defeated the San Diego Luchadors, 5-4, in United action at Jets Field. Dallas pitcher Gerardo Corona had a standout performance. The Jets go to 12-14, putting them third in the United Central.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Ray Richardson came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing San Diego pitcher Roberto Sanchez, he hit a 1-1 changeup for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Dallas on top, 5-4.

"Gerardo showed what he's made of," said Dallas manager David Fields.
