| Hitters Lose to Leon, 4-3 | Angelo Pulido, who is tied for 7th in the UL in wins with 3, was locked in. The left-hander led the Leon Toltecs to a 4-3 win against the Hollywood Hitters at Hitters Park. Pulido, now 3-2, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs. With the win, Leon pushed its record to 16-14.
Franklin Visser had a direct impact on the outcome. Visser contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Leon up, 4-0.
"We came in and did what we needed to do," said Leon manager David Fields.
