| Queens Reel Off Another Win | Denver Queens starter Matt Wynn found his groove in his team's 3-2 win over the Atlanta Peaches. Wynn, the winner, moves to 3-2. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up no walks. Denver has now won 6 straight, while the Peaches have lost 3 in a row.
Eric Burne, who is a three-time Gold Glove Award winner, aided the Denver cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the second. For the game, the third baseman drove in one run.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Burne told the Denver News.
