Toltecs Come Back Late to Top Jets, 3-2
The Leon Toltecs took Dallas pitcher Edgar Rodriguez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Toltecs Field. The final score had Leon getting past the Jets, 3-2. Rodriguez went 7 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 5. Chris Maguire snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 1.1 innings. He's now 1-1 on the season. Alex Ramirez recorded the save for Leon, his 8th of the season.

Leon took a 3-2 lead on Victor Ramos's 8th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Ramos hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Dallas pitcher Paul Ross visibly frustrated.

Ramos called the win a testament to his team's "grit."

The win for the Toltecs lifted their record to 17-14.
