| Jets Take Down Hitters, 4-3 | Starting pitcher Lance Daniello pitched well enough to help the Dallas Jets beat the Hollywood Hitters, 4-3. Dallas reliever Daniel Morales picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Armando Fonseca absorbed the loss. The third-place Jets are 15-18.
The Jets got a clutch hit from first baseman David de Alva. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Jets.
"They tested our mettle," said Daniello. "But that's good. It toughens us up." | | | | |
