Red-Hot Marauders Win Again
The Mexico City Marauders beat the Dallas Jets, 5-1, at Marauders Field. Starting pitcher Rafael Molina was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Molina got the win, improving to 5-1. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 7.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. The second-place Marauders have won 12 straight.

Mario Cardenas had a big run-scoring double for the Marauders in the bottom of the third inning. With Mexico City leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Gerardo Corona, the 2nd overall pick in the 2041 draft, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Marauders ahead, 2-0.

"When you're winning, you walk a little taller," said Marauders manager David Fields.
