Antunez Goes Deep Twice in 11-7 Luchadors Win
The San Diego Luchadors topped the Atlanta Peaches, 11-7, with center fielder Ruben Antunez playing a big role. Antunez was 4-4 with 2 home runs, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for the Luchadors in the win. San Diego pitcher Alan Herron got the win. He's now 7-0. Miguel Millan was tagged with the loss. Bobby Samu earned the save for San Diego, his 16th of the year.

San Diego used a clutch at-bat from Rob Court to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Luchadors ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Antunez said.

Atlanta has now lost 7 in a row.
