| Twisters Prevail, 3-1, Over Mexico City | Santiago Negrete pitched well, but the Mexico City Marauders still lost the game, falling, 3-1, to the Oklahoma City Twisters at Wranglers Ballpark. Mike Clark, the winning pitcher, is now 4-1. He went 7.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 8 hits, while fanning 5 and walking 0. Chad Strickland collected save number 7.
Oklahoma City second baseman Rodrigo Ortiz contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 1st hit of the season and put the Twisters ahead, 2-0.
"We took home the win," said Ortiz. "What's not to like?"
