| Twisters Spank Pioneers, 11-2 | Oklahoma City and San Francisco got after it at Pioneers Park.
Led by Tony Quere, the Oklahoma City Twisters downed the San Francisco Pioneers, 11-2. Quere went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 for the Twisters. Jaden Reddicks got the win, improving to 5-2. He held the Pioneers to 2 runs on 6 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 1.
With Oklahoma City leading 7-2 in the top of the eighth, Quere came up to bat against San Francisco pitcher John Mays. Quere hit a slider to right-center for a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Twisters on top, 11-2.
In postgame comments to the Oklahoma City Bulletin, Quere said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
