| Queens Drop Another One, 7-2 | The Denver Queens and Dallas Jets delighted fans at Jets Field.
Dallas Jets starter Edgar Rodriguez kept the Denver Queens hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-2 win. Denver, at 10-31, has lost 6 straight.
The Jets got a big at-bat from first baseman Felix Torres. For the game, Torres was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Dallas a 4-2 lead.
"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager David Fields. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
