Spirited fans greeted the Phoenix Firebirds for their clash with the Hollywood Hitters.

Joel Owens was instrumental in his team's 9-3 triumph over the Phoenix Firebirds. The catcher belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Hollywood Hitters. Picking up the win was Joe Fenton. He went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 10 hits. The right--hander struck out 5 and walked 2. Mike Benson earned save number 1 this season.
