| Toltecs Earn Late Win | The Leon Toltecs picked up a win at Toltecs Field, knocking off the San Francisco Pioneers, 4-3. Starting pitcher Kareem Brobbey was a big reason why. The winner in relief was Alex Ramirez. He is now 3-1. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The Toltecs have an impressive 26-15 record.
Ryan Fager, who finished 5th in the UL in stolen bases with 30 in 2034, helped out the Leon cause in the bottom of the eighth inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the third baseman went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said San Francisco skipper David Fields, "and it cost us."
