Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Orlando Orange and Chicago Hawks.

The Orlando Orange had to overcome a fine effort from Chicago pitcher Mario Villalobos to win, 5-4, at Hawks Park. Villalobos went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. The win has Orlando at 1-2.

Orlando used a timely hit from Mike Banks to get the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Orange ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Orlando manager David Fields.
