Maldonado Plays Big Role in Mexico City Win
The Mexico City Marauders picked up a win at Pilots Park, knocking off the Seattle Pilots, 2-0. On the mound for Mexico City was right-hander Marcos Maldonado. He played a key role in the triumph. Nick Weaver, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2043 draft, earned the save for Mexico City. At 29-16, Mexico City is in second place in the United South.

Maldonado allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8.1 innings for the Marauders . With the win, he is 5-4 with an ERA of 3.21.

In postgame comments to the Mexico City Herald, Maldonado said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
