The Mexico City Marauders picked up a win at Globe Life Field, knocking off the Houston Rangers, 7-3, in 10 innings. On the mound for Mexico City was left-hander Ricardo Davalos. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. The first-place Marauders have won 5 straight.

Mexico City used a timely hit from Mario Cardenas to get the win. The first baseman stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Marauders ahead, 6-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Davalos told a Mexico City Herald reporter that he felt "euphoric" after the win.
