The Leon Toltecs grabbed a win, 8-5, over the Phoenix Firebirds at Toltecs Field. Leon designated hitter Justin Dean was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The Toltecs have an impressive 31-16 record.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Dean hit a splitter from Jose Hernandez for a 3-run home run. The Toltecs, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Dean. "You've got to get results."
