Spence Hits Two Dingers, Toltecs Win, 7-6
The Leon Toltecs trumped the Seattle Pilots, 7-6, at Pilots Park. Leon left fielder David Spence was terrific. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Leon reliever Chris Maguire picked up the win, raising his record to 2-1. John Downey was tagged with the loss. Alex Ramirez earned the save, his 15th.

Victor Ramos came through with a big-time hit for Leon. The first baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 7-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Ramos.
