Makos Move on to Divisional
It went the distance, but the Miami Makos finally disposed of the Chicago Hawks 4-3 in the series clincher at Honolulu Stadium.

Winning the finale gave the Makos the series, 2-1. They will now advance to the Divisional.

The Most Valuable Player Award went to Miami right fielder Damien Longhurst. He batted .333 in the series, collecting 2 RBIs and scoring 2 runs.

"Damien deserves it," said Makos manager David Fields. "He was the glue that held our club together."

The Miami Makos will play against the New York Empire in the next round. New York had a bye in the Wildcard. The Divisional schedule will be announced after the Wildcard finishes.
