The Tampa Bay Sunrays moved to within one game of the Conference Championship, downing the Toronto Robbers on the road at Mounties Park by a score of 4-2. Sunrays right-hander Luis Calderon had a strong outing. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 1 run. The win gives the Sunrays a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Divisional.

Gilberto Leyva had a direct impact on the outcome. Leyva contributed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put Tampa Bay up, 1-0.

"Luis was the difference maker. He was emotionally under control, had good stuff and makeup," said Tampa Bay manager David Fields.

Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday at Sunrays Field.
